Baking

I have been baking - just not posting. Go figure! It's a problem when your camera is broken and you feel pictures belong with posts. I made 3 cakes in the shape of dice for my Bunco group and lots of cupcakes. I have discovered this great lemon poundcake recipe that makes super moist cupcakes. Generally I don't like cupcakes. Why? Because they are dry! But not these. I will be experimenting with different variations of this recipe very soon. I'm not kidding people these cupcakes were still super moist after 4 days - I am impressed!

Little girls love Tinkerbell. This cake was for Madison for her 4th Birthday. Happy Birthday Maddie!

Beach Cake

This is a pineapple cake with pineapple cream cheese filling on top and a Pina Colada and Raspberry cake on the bottom. The tropical theme was fun and yummy.

I was looking for ideas for Jaxon's birthday cake and found this cake/idea on a blog I like to check out. Jaxon was instantly in love and had to have it. It was quite the challenge considering this was my third, fourth and fifth fondant cake ever! Moms will do anything for their kids!
